I’m Broke and you?

Hello to my zero followers and hello to you one of my first readers and welcome to my financial disaster experience. My name is Chris, I’m 33 years old (turning 34 on 12/7) I’m broke and have over $1000k in student loans plus credit card debt . This Blog is not to teach how to better use your money, how to use credit cards, how to save money or how to pay your bills on time either. This is me sharing my experience on how I wasn’t able to do any of those things. I am not qualified to give you financial advice but I hope while sharing my story it can shed some light to your financial stress. I want you to know you’re not the only one and that you have options.

This Blog is about opening up and sharing with the world how I got myself into such a predicament. Most importantly how my partner and I are working towards getting back on track and achieving financial independence. Your financial journey is not one track or one way only and there isn’t a one fits all formula; it takes work (which I’m figuring out now) and patiences. It takes you to making the right decisions for your future. I hope my experience can inspire you to do better than me.

This is the beginning of my journey sharing with you my bad financial decision and how I kept digging the hole I’m in right now. This Blog is intended for readers to relate and connect because I know that talking about money, especially when it’s about “being broke, in debt” is a scary and embarrassing topic. Please feel free to share your story. You will only find sympathy and encouragement from me.

One last thing, I am not a writer so I will this sweet and simple but I will do my best to make a point that brings you value. This is my introduction.

More to come. Stay tune.
